Ingredients
Jowar Flour, Wheat Flour, Bajra Flour, Besan, Rice Flour, Sesame Seeds, Coriander Seeds, Cumin, Ajwain, Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder and Salt.
How to Prepare
For 1 Thalipeeth
- Add 30g of Sproutling Thalipeeth Premix to a bowl.
- Add 2–3 tbsp curd.
- Mix in vegetables of your choice such as onion, carrot, spinach, beetroot or green chillies.
- Knead into a soft dough, adding a few drops of water if required.
- Taste a small pinch of the dough and adjust salt if needed.
- Rest the dough for 5 minutes.
Cooking Instructions
- Place the dough on a damp muslin or clean cotton cloth.
- Using wet fingers, gently pat it into a thin round thalipeeth.
- Make a few small holes in the centre and around the surface.
- Carefully transfer it onto a preheated tawa.
- Drizzle a little ghee or oil over the surface and into the holes.
- Cook on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with homemade butter, curd, pickle, green chutney, or thecha.
