Key Ingredients:
- Freeze-dried rice powder: Rice powder is first boiled and then freeze-dried, making it easier to digest for little tummies.
- Freeze-dried moong dal powder: Moong dal is an excellent source of plant-based protein. It is rich in vitamin B- complex and vitamin C. It is also a good source of folate which is important for a baby’s brain and nervous system.
- Freeze-dried Pumpkin Powder: Pumpkin is rich in vitamin A, Vitamin C, and potassium. High in fibre and gentle on the stomach. Beta carotene present in pumpkin promotes healthy skin.
How to Prepare:
- Clean your hands and utensils before feeding your baby.
- Take 20g (approximately 2 tablespoons) of the pumpkin khihdi from the packet.
- Mix with 120ml (1/2 c) of warm water.
- Stir well to make the baby khichdi lump-free.
- Let it cool to a suitable temperature and feed your baby.
